JPPC - the Jülich Plant Phenotyping Centre:
new technologies open new windows to plants
At the IBG-2: Plant Sciences plant scientists together with physicists, chemists and engineers develop a unique portfolio of non-invasive methods for plant phenotyping.
The methods are based on
- optical and dedicated electromagnetic technologies,
- NMR and
- special isotope technologies including
- short-lived radiotracers.
JPPC develops the technologies and protocols in cooperation with members of the research areas of the IBG-2:Plant Sciences. JPPC adopts these methods for the special applications in plant phenotyping.
