LLVIEW: graphical monitoring of BG/L


LLview is a client-server based application which allows to monitor the utilization of the BG/L system. It was adapted from the llview for IBM clusters controlled by the batch system LoadLeveler. For more information about llview please refer to

Users can call llview for BG/L on the Login Node (jubl) of BG/L or the Login Node of the Jump cluster (jump). 

     
   userid@jubl:  llview 
   userid@jump:  llview_bgl
To use llview_bgl the user must have an account on the Login Node (jubl) of the BG/L system and an account on the Jump cluster too. For first time initialization a valid userid and a password must be entered after:
  • clicking Options
  • selecting Change
  • clicking the WWW tab
  • enter userid + [Enter] + [Save]
  • enter password + [Enter] + [Save]
These values can be displayed on the Login Node of the BG/L system by 
     userid@jubl:   llview_getaccess
and are confidential to the users of the BG/L system and should not be circulated.
