The deadline for project proposals for the period from 01 July 2009 to 30 June 2010 is 30 April 2009.

Proposals do not require a special form; they should include the following information:

• Title of the project



• Members of the project
  Here the names of all scientists should be listed who spend the main part of their time on the project.



• Coordinator of the project
  Name, address, email address



• Scientific goals of the project
  Please give a short introduction and a description that allows experts to understand your project (approximately 3 pages).



• Numerical methods to be employed in the project.
  (please mention the basic methods used; if the methods are not generally known, please supply references)



• Dimensions
  Please give the lattice sizes you plan to use, the necessary statistics, etc.



• Current status of the project
  Even after an approval of the project by the peer review board, computing time will not be allocated before the program codes for the APE computers have been developed and tested.



• Minimum computing power required to carry out the project (in units of crates, e.g. 128 APEmille processors or 256 apeNEXT processors resp.), as well as the desired partitioning (board, unit, crate or rack).
