The MTUNIC-group participated 2006 for the first time in the
"Critical Assessment of Techniques for Protein Structure Prediction" (CASP 7).
We predicted 483 models for 97 3D-targets.
In the "Free Modeling" (FM) section we have reached our best results.
If you look at the number of top-3 votes in the FM section, we were one of the best five groups.
The picture shows the best predicted third domain (colored) of target T0356 in comparison to the original
structure (grey) of the domain.
Another target we did quite good is T0346. It belongs to the "Template Based Modeling" (TMB) section.
The best prediction has a TM-score of 0.9679 and a RMSD of 1.66.
In this picture you can see how good the predicted structure fits the experimental structure.
